Android Started Rolling out New Android 7.0 Nougat

22-Aug-2016: Android just started rolling out the new mobile operating system the Android Nougat 7.0 for its Nexus devices. As we all know Nexus devices are among the very first devices which got to test the newest Android. This time, also Google kept that trending by rolling out the Android Nougat to Nexus devices.


The new version of Android Nougat features some new features like multi-window multitasking, better Emojis, Doze power saving mode, quick reply from the notification bar, better data saving option and many other functions.

Google is going to send OTA update for the Android 7.0 to Nexus 6, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, NNexus 9, Nexus Player, Pixel C tab and other 4G Android One devices. This update will be received by the user’s overs the coming few weeks. The Official Android Blog also confirms that the devices that enrolled for the Android Beta program also receive the update.

In the meantime, the LG V20 is going to be the first ever Android phone to come with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. For all the non-Nexus devices which support the Android Nougat can expect the update in the coming months which will be delivered by your carrier partner.
